Giff Fisher has been a fixture of the Sandhills food scene since the late 70’s when he had to take over a BBQ for three hundred people after the hired chef passed out. Over the next few years he repeated this task many times, honing his culinary skill with a charcoal grill. Soon, People were asking if he could do other things.

With extensive travel in the U.S., Europe and South America, through some of the best and worst bars and restaurants; life experience was a great teacher not restricting him to a particular style of cooking.

Now, through his company, White Rabbit Catering, he not only offers BBQ cooked the traditional way over live coals, but also caters to much more formal tastes such as cocktail parties; dinner parties, weddings, game dinners, oyster roasts, golf tournaments and much more. You name it he has probably done it and if not, he welcomes the challenge of something new. Past clients include locals, tourists, corporations, charities, athletes, celebrities and a (dare we say) few politicians.
